Оказывается у iMac'a есть не только Цвет, но и Запах.
Заметка крохотная, поэтому просто целиком ее здесь приведу:
APPLE'S G4 SMELLS ROTTEN
The new Apple Macintosh G4's stink. Literally. As noted by the online publication Salon and the MacInTouch Web site, the powerful new machines emit a strong odor when first used. Likening the aroma to the smell of a new car or new carpeting, Apple says it comes from the computer warming up to its "operating temperature." The heated-plastic smell supposedly lasts for only a short period of time.
В связи с этим мне вспомнился характерный запах пластмассы Commodore 64, я и сейчас узнаю его из тысяч других :-)
Если кто помнит, в фильме Pirates of Silicon Valley в самом начале есть эпизод, где у Возняка загорается компьютер и во весь кадр показывают газету со статьёй об этом случае.
